Your land, your data

When you join the waitlist we store the email you give us, and optionally your region and what draws you in. If you create an account we store your name, email, and the property details you enter: location, zones, and the devices you register.

Detection runs on a small edge hub on your land. Camera video is processed there and is not streamed to our servers as a matter of course. What reaches the cloud is the event record you see in your dashboard: a timestamp, the detected class, the zone, and the response taken. You hold the footage; we hold the summary that lets us help.

We use your data to operate your account, send the alerts you asked for, respond to events, and improve protection. We will only email you about your service or about something worth your time. No fear-mongering, no selling your attention.

We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run the platform (hosting, database, email delivery), under contract and only to the extent needed, or where the law requires it.

We keep your event history for 12 months and the camera images behind those events for 90 days, then remove them automatically. Your account details stay while your account is active. Close your account and we remove your personal data within a reasonable window, except where we must retain records to meet a legal obligation.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and you can leave the waitlist at any time. Write to hello@bearawareprotect.com and we will take care of it.
